Light On Light Through

You'll hear a little of this and lot of that on Light On Light Through - my reviews of great television series, my interviews with authors and creative media people and their interviews of me, my political commentary, thoughts about my favorite cars and food and space travel, discussions of my music, and a few of my readings from my science fiction stories. These are usually audio and a few are video.  In the first years, starting in 2006, I put up a new episode at least once a month.  More recently, it's become more or less often than once a month, usually a lot less often.  But now, in the Fall of 2018, I'm getting more in the mood to podcast, and you can expect new episodes at least once a month.  - Paul Levinson

Ron Paul at PBS Debate: I Am Against Federal Death Penalty

Sep 28, 2007

I was delighted to hear Ron Paul say at the Republican Presidential debate on PBS that he is opposed to the Federal death penalty. Kucinich at Dem Debate: "I Would Give 16-Year Olds the Vote"

Sep 27, 2007

Sep 23, 2007

I enjoy hearing from people who disagree with my blog posts, podcasts, radio and TV appearances. I've always agreed with Socrates that dialog is the best path to knowledge.

Here's an example of a little exchange that occurred this morning, shortly after my weekly radio interview by Bob Brill on KNX 1070 all-news...

Five Major News Networks Ranked in Their Fair/Unfair Treatment of Ron Paul

Sep 22, 2007

With the Fall at our doorstep, and the lecture I'm giving to my class at Fordham University about the media mistreatment of Ron Paul just a week away, I thought I'd share with you a little list I put together, which ranks the five major TV news networks on their coverage of Ron Paul as well as other presidential...

What Passes for Humor on Fox News These Days

Sep 21, 2007

"Anyone listening to John Kerry should be tasered" - that "joke" came from a former homicide detective, Rod Wheeler, who Fox News chose to have as a guest on Hannity and Colmes last night.

Wheeler said a lot more - that Andrew Meyer clearly deserved to be tasered, that he was clearly threatening the police who...
